Step 2: Coaching

With more than 10 years of Life Coaching experience and extensive education and training in mental health, wellness, and personal advocacy in the U.S. and abroad, I am well-qualified to help you improve your life and reach your goals across a variety of life contexts. Life Coaching with me helps you get to the core of the matter and figure out what to do about it. It is a process of increasing self-awareness, gaining clarity and insight about your patterns, strengths, and challenges, and taking purposeful action to make progress toward your goals.


I am highly trained and skilled in active listening, processing experiences, setting goals, teaching new skills, increasing awareness of thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and their relation to your reactions and situation outcomes, co-formulating solutions, creating plans, and providing accountability. I advocate for personal growth, congruence between personal and professional selves, critical thinking, extreme self-care, empathy, and thinking outside the box.


In my Life Coaching practice, I work with teens and adults ages 13-65+, including individuals, businesses, couples, and families. For the most part, we meet over Skype, FaceTime, or the phone once or twice a week for 30 minutes or an hour, and you get relevant "homework" every session that will help you progress. I also offer in-home organization and emotional "stuff" processing services for certain clients.

Life Coaching clients want to improve their lives and relationships, take on a project, and set goals and reach them. The past is important to understanding patterns and solutions, and Life Coaching with me takes that into account to inform what's going on in the present and what to do about it.

Nobody fits neatly into any of these categories. We begin by setting goals together to guide the themes of our work. Sessions turn into a natural flow between us, sometimes shifting topics as needed to address the most pressing situations with the knowledge that one area of life affects the others. Sometimes goals change, or something else needs to be addressed first, and that's okay. We work within well-defined goals and also go with the flow.

Session Structure, Policies, & Fees:

  • 30-minute Life Coaching session: Please inquire.

  • 1-hour Life Coaching session: Please inquire.

  • Longer sessions increase in 30-minute increments.

  • In-home organization sessions usually last at least 4 hours. Please inquire.

  • Pay when you schedule a session over Venmo or PayPal.

  • Health insurance does not cover Life Coaching.

  • 24-hour cancellation/rescheduling policy with reasonable emergencies excepted

  • Recommended minimum 3 months of consistent Life Coaching and effort on your part for lasting change. Many of my Life Coaching clients keep me around for much longer to continue moving forward and work on different aspects of themselves, life transitions, and projects. Others work with me for a specified period of time to gain structure, motivation, and accountability for particular goals.The more you do and the more open you are = more progress. Coaching clients usually start to gain clarity on certain issues early on, which is helpful and feels good, but it's up to you to follow through long-term!
